Replacing Old Sliding Door Rollers

The first step regardless of what kind of door you have is removing the door from the track.

Once removed transfer your door to a flat working space such as a floor and remove the screws from the rollers. Replace the roller screws and use your phillips screwdriver to turn them clockwise until tight. Insert the new rollers in the door lining up the holes on the rollers with the holes in the bottom of the door insert the new rollers in place. Replace the bottom frame.

Before you can replace your old roller you first need to remove the door panels from the track. Replace the roller if the rollers or sliding glass door wheels are full of dirt and debris give them a good cleaning and a few drops of lubricant and see if they spin freely.
